Senate Defeats Contraception Amendment
03/01/12 ... The Senate narrowly rejected legislation that would have allowed employers to opt out of covering health care services to which they had moral or religious objections. Bishop William E. Lori says the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops will continue opposing the rule.
