NCSE Opposes Released Time Fears Creation Teaching
02/15/12 ... The National Center for Science Education apparently objects to a new bill in Alabama that would permit released time religious education for elective credit, on the basis that the instruction might also include creationism. The bill provides for religious instruction independent of the public school's involvement.
