Opening City Council Meetings with Prayer
02/24/12 ... The Freedom From Religion Foundation has asked the Huntsville City Council to discontinue its long-standing tradition of opening meetings with prayer. Different options are being considered, such as a rotating roster or moment of silence. Congress is allowed to open its sessions with prayer, but no one is certain how narrow that exception is.
