01/09/13 ... Some in the military are concerned that the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell will not only provide recognition for homosexuals in the military, but stifle all opposing views. The current administration position is that chaplains can speak out in the "religious context," meaning only in the pulpit. High officials have indicated that those who dissent from the gay rights agenda should get out of the military. Pressure has already been put on military chaplains and others. Recently, Congress protected religious views in its defense authorization bill, but it appears the President may refuse to enforce the bill.
